Pickaxe Logistics
Designed branding, including logos, typography, and color for logistics startup. Client requested a design that was sleek and modern, yet retained an element of approachable playfulness. To make the most of the minimalist style, I angled the axe at a near forty-five degrees to imply the motion of a swing, which calls to mind the impact and speed of an effective logistics company.

The Guardian Foundation
Designed print collateral, including invites, flyers, and signage, for The Guardian Foundation’s yearly Board Soiree to be held at The Westin hotel and McLemore Resort on Lookout Mountain. I aimed to craft a design that captured the grandeur of the beautiful mountains that would fill the horizon at both The Westin and McLemore Resort, while making sure to prioritize a clear hierarchy of the key information included in the invites. With this design, I hoped to integrate The Guardian Foundation’s brand in an innovative way while still capturing the essence and heart of the organization’s identity.

Card Illustrations
Designed and illustrated my wife’s birthday party invite and Christmas card. For both of these projects, I leaned into a playful and illustrative style that I’m often drawn to, but don’t often get to explore professionally. For each of these, I chose colors, typefaces, and textures that drew on vintage as well as contemporary aesthetics to create a pieces that felt fun, timeless, but still seemed to find its place in the current moment.

Cammy’s Cause
Designed t-shirt for Cammy’s Cause 5k Run/Walk hosted annually by the MCR Foundation to prevent eating disorders and promote a healthy body image. The MCR Foundation hoped to highlight the Chattanooga riverfront which would serve as the site of the start and finish of the race. I chose striking colors and a playful illustrative style to capture the charm of the city,. I narrowed the focus of the scene to the most communal and visually compelling spaces to call to mind the spirit of community and restoration that are at the center of Cammy’s Cause and the MCR Foundation.

Memories by Ben Strawn
Photographed, illustrated, and created layout for Ben’s 2025 single, Memories. The imagery of the cardinal that Ben describes in the song served as a key point of inspiration in creating the color palette and, of course, the central illustration. The gothic typeface helped me draw out a sense of granduer that mirrored lyrics that seem to call back to a time and place that we can no longer inhabit.

DX Printing, LLC
As Lead Designer and in-house creative and media director, I used any downtime to imagine simple tools that would enable our team to increase efficieny and have a more beautiful workspace. The ease with which I could then produce and iterate on these prints rapidly informed my ability to anticipate issues and design with more understanding of the limitations and strengths of print and other physical media.
